Are you a Russell Group graduate with a 2:1 degree or above looking to gain valuable experience within a primary school?

We are currently recruiting for a bright, enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Barnet, London .

This is an excellent opportunity for a high-achieving graduate looking to build experience within education, particularly if you are considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, child development or a related field .

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils across the primary age range with their learning and development.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and supportive lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Help pupils develop their confidence, communication and academic skills.
• Support children who may require additional learning support.
• Assist with classroom activities and preparation.
• Build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff.
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
About You

The successful candidate will:
• Be a graduate from a Russell Group university .
• Have achieved a 2:1 degree or above .
• Have a genuine interest in working with children and education.
• Be enthusiastic, motivated and proactive.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be patient, approachable and confident when working with children.
• Have a strong academic background and a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience working with children, tutoring, mentoring or volunteering is desirable but not essential.

This role is particularly suited to graduates looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before progressing into a career within education.

DBS clearance and relevant safeguarding checks will be required.
